Video clip: design and built downsizing engine

MAHLE Powertrain designed and built their new downsizing engine within nine months. The testing and development is an ongoing process to optimise the engine performance and economy to very high levels. The engine was installed in a demonstration vehicle in 2010 and two cars are now being used for customer demonstration drives.
